Stephen Ernest Hart, 68, of Lumberton, Texas, passed away on December 28, 2015 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital, Beaumont, Texas, surrounded by his family. He was born September 16, 1947 to Robert E. Hart and Frances Kelly Hart of Beaumont, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Mary Lee Beason Hart and son, Kevin Hart.

Steve is survived by and was a loving father of David Scott Hart (Kim Woodside Moore) of Beaumont, Texas, Kenneth Wayne Hart of Lumberton, Texas; his brothers, Michael Hart of Beaumont, Texas, Tim Hart of Dallas, Texas; and wife, Edwina (Cookie) McClintock of Lumberton, Texas.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 3rd, 2016, from 3:00p.m. – 5:00p.m. at Claybar Funeral Home, Beaumont, Texas. Services will be held on Monday, January 4th, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Loeb, in Lumberton, Texas at 1:00pm with interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, Texas following the service.
