Stephen "Stevie" Walter Williams

Graveside services for Stephen "Stevie" Walter Williams, 19, of Beaumont will be held Saturday, October 2, 2010 in the China Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the cemetery.

Stevie was born Sept. 29, 1990 in Galveston, Texas and passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at his residence. A resident of Beaumont for the past five years, he was a former resident of China, Texas and was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his mother, Renya Williams of Beaumont; grandmother, Dorothy Williams of Beaumont; sister, Belle Williams of Liberty; and aunts, Judy Bishop of Liberty and Kathy Eberhard of Silsbee.

Stevie was preceded in death by his father, Steve Williams.

I came to know Stevie via his Aunt Judy. She would bring he & his sister Belle to church with her. He was a very loving, helpful, & respectful young man. I remember Stevie at the Henderson Jr. High dance contests and the Hardin-Jefferson football games. He made the best out of every event. What a sweet young man.
