Steve Simon, 52, of Bridge City, died Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2010, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.

Born in Orange on April 7, 1958, Steve was the son of Dalton Edward Simon and Eva Mae Girard Simon. He worked as a tugboat captain.

Preceded in death by his parents, Steve is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Anne Simon; and six brothers, Joseph Arthur Simon of Youngsville, Louisiana, John E. Simon of Bridge City, Raymond Simon of Little Cypress, Jim Simon of Bridge City, Chester Simon of Vidor and Edward Simon of Orange.
