Steven Lynn Taylor, 46, of Orange, died Sunday, July 05, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at First United Pentecostal Church in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Gary Wheeler. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 6, 2009, at the church.

Steven was born on September 25, 1962, in Orange. He was the son of Leon Taylor and Yvonne Tarver Bornette. He owned Taylor Marine, and was a member of First United Pentecostal Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Smith Taylor; and wife Velena Clark Taylor.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents; sons, David Hodges and his wife Jackie of Hallsville; daughter, Tina Hodges of Austin, Aaron Arpin and his wife Toya of Orange; grandchildren, Courtnie Hodges, Brayden Hodges, Cody Knight, Shelby Strickland, and Faith Elizabeth Arpin; brother, Boyd Leon Taylor and his wife Karen of Orangefield; sister, Angela Strong and her husband Lee of Orange; step-brother, Randy Kay Bornette; step-sister, Donna Bunker of Woodville, and Dana Johnson of Andrews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Tarver, Heath Tarver, Justin Bornette, Dustin Williams, Calvin Calhoun and Jeffrey Calhoun.

I am so sorry to hear of Steven's death. I know he will be missed by all. I love the picture of you and Steven together, I assume at the wedding. You can easily see where he got his smile.
