Sue Nell (Erwin) McBroom, 86 of Beaumont was born July 1, 1930 in Hemphill, Texas to Ivie and Ernestine (Sibley) Erwin and passed away May 13, 2017 in Beaumont, Texas.
A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 12:00 pm in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel with Reverend Bill Morgan officiating. Interment will be at 4:00 p.m. in the Little Flock Cemetery in San Augustine, Texas. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday prior to the service.
Mrs. McBroom had resided in the Beaumont area since 1950. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lumberton and a former member of Woodland Baptist Church in Beaumont. She was a homemaker and had worked as an EEG Technician for several years.
She is survived by her son, Ronald McBroom of Beaumont; daughter, Deborah Woodward Fournier and husband, Ralph, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Cody Woodward of Colorado, Melissa Ashworth of Nevada; step-grandchildren, Christopher Woodward of Colorado and Lauren Woodward, Ashlyn Ewest, Trey Fournier, Haylee Johnson and Torie Fournier, all of Beaumont.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dan McBroom; and sister, Inez Curl.
