Susie Elizabeth Dorman

Susie Elizabeth Dorman, 69, of Orange passed away May 20, 2011.

A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday May 25, 2011, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dorman was born December 16, 1941 in Orange to Buttler and Rosie Hock Lawrence. She was a homemaker and married to her husband Charles Dorman for 43 years before he passed away.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Dorman; children, Earl Dorman and Charley Dorman.

Those left to remember her are her children, James Dorman and Richard Dorman; close friend, Carl Kibodeaux; sisters, Bessie Norwood, Dorothy Wallace and Shirlene McPherson; three grandsons; one granddaughter and five great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Pete Lawrence, Jason Scott, Jeremy Dorman, Brandon Dorman, Martin Scott and Chris Cockerham.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all family and friends of Susie. She was always there when someone needed a hand with something she had a heart of gold. My heart breaks for James and Richard.
