Sybil Louise Brown, 80, died October 21, 2008, in Port Arthur, TX. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the Walker Cemetery on Hwy. 59 in Lufkin, TX. Visitation will be Friday, October 24, 2008 at the Claybar Funeral Home at 1408 Park in Orange from 6-8 p.m..

Mrs. Brown was born on August 13, 1928, in Alto, TX to Frank and May Oliver Day. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie J. Brown; and one brother and two sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Dennison and husband John of Orange and her son, Clarence Brown, of Beaumont; five grandchildren, Michelle Clingaman, Melanie Marshall, Patrick Dennison, Jason Brown, and Jennifer Brown; six great-grandchildren, Corey McMullen, Trey McMullen, Blake Clingaman, Jackson Marshall, Anna Marshall and Payton Brown. She also leaves two sisters and two brothers; Margie Milburn, Vergie Day, Virgil Day and Lloyd Day.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Dennison, Jason Brown, Corey McMullen, Trey McMullen, Jason Scurlock and Trent Marshall. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Blake Clingaman and Jackson Marshall.
