Tammy Rene Wilder

1976 ∼ 2014

A gathering of family and friends of Tammy Wilder, 37, of Beaumont will be held Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont. Tammy passed away unexpectedly January 13, 2014. She was born July 12, 1976 in Marion, Indiana to Cheryl Simonis Wyss and Jerry Hyman.

Tammy had lived in Beaumont for about three years after living in Indiana, Florida and Alabama. She worked for several years for Speedy Stop in Vidor before leaving for a position at McDonald’s in Vidor.

She was a devoted Dallas Cowboy’s Football fan! Her interests also included WWE Wrestling, reading and rodeos. She enjoyed watching movies, dancing and trying new recipes for her family. Even more important to her than any of her interests was her devotion to those she cared about. She would protect and stand up for those who she thought were in need. Her family and friends were lucky that she loved to cook and try out new recipes!

Tammy is survived by her mother and step-father, Cheryl and Nick Wyss; father, Jerry Hyman; sisters, Gwena L. Walker and Tristina Kay Marie Alman Kelley and her husband, John Kelley; nephews, Michael and Jacob Chavez of Indiana and her furry child, Tanny.

A fund raiser to help the family with expenses will be held Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the O'Reilly Auto Parts store located at 1275 N Main St, Vidor, TX 77662.

Those who wish may make donations in Tammy’s name to the American Heart Association.

We will miss your smiling face and generosity.

Condolences

My condolences to the Family. God has "put eternity " in our hearts.(Ecclesiastes 3:11) That is why we long to be with our loved ones forever. Soon Jehovah God will make this possible. He promises to do what Revelation 21:4 says "he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more." God will get rid of all the things that make us suffer. He will also bring our loved ones back to life. (John 5:28,29) Soon things will be very different. You may visit jw.org to learn more on how this will be possible. Hope you may find comfort in his wonderful promises. (Titus 1:2)

Tammy was a good friend. I always saw her with a smile on her face. She always had me laughing about something. So sweet and kind. She will be greatly missed.

Tammy was the sweetest person I knew. A lovely lady was taken too soon. The song "Drink a beer" by Luke Bryan makes me think of Tammy, not in an alcoholic way or anything but just sitting by pool having a beer together.....
