Tania Lee Honeycutt

1971 ∼ 2017

Tania Lee Honeycutt, 46, of Carrollton, TX, died peacefully Sunday, July 9, 2017, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center, Carrollton, surrounded by family and friends. She was born on July 5, 1971, in Beaumont, TX, to Hazel Clayton Celestine and Charles B. Celestine of Kountze, TX. She graduated from Warren High School and proudly reigned as Tyler County Dogwood Queen in 1989.

Tania was formerly a Medical Assistant at Southeast Texas Ear, Nose & Throat, but then resigned to stay at home and be a loving wife and “Super Mom”. Her daughters were her sun and stars as were many other children over the years. She served as “Team Mom” to her daughters’ cheerleading teams in Lumberton, TX, Carrollton, TX, at Hebron High School and Richardson, TX, at the University of Texas at Dallas. She devoutly loved her furry children, Winn-Dixie and Ziggy, and always shared stories about them and her family. She had a knack for photography, painting, fashion and all that glitters. Pink truly was her signature color. Tania continued to give, even in death, as an organ donor and was able to touch the lives of other people and their families.

Tania is survived by her loving husband, Craig Honeycutt, and their two beautiful daughters, Jordan Lee and Maddie Elaine Honeycutt, all of Carrollton; her parents and brother, Charles Celestine, of Kountze, TX, and brother, Jimmy Celestine, of Lumberton, TX. She is preceded in death by her brother, Timmy Howard Celestine.

Memorial service for Tania will be held at Claybar Funeral Home, 1155 N. 11th St. in Beaumont, TX, on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 2:00 PM. Visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 PM.

Tania was a wonderful person with a precious heart. She was such a sweet friend in school and compassionate friend in adulthood. My prayers are with her family during this difficult time. May they remember the good times and know she's with them during the bad.

Craig, Jordan and Maddie know you are all in my prayers. May God grant you each peace and strength during this time. Never forget, God remains as close as the mention of His name!
