Terry Roberts Silkwood, 65, resident of Bridge City passed away Friday, June 15, 2007. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 23, 2007 at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Officiating will be The Reverend Cliff Rucker and assisting will be The Reverend Jack Leighton. Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Mrs. Silkwood was born August 15, 1941 to Dick and Mavis Painton Roberts. She was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, later attended Lamar State College and became a dispatcher for Orange County Ambulance Service. She loved going to the beach, playing softball and basketball. She also enjoyed working in the church and her beautiful yard. Terry is preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband, Perry J. Silkwood of Bridge City; sons, Troy G. Silkwood of Bridge City and Bret L. Silkwood of the Woodlands; numerous nieces and nephews and her brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Carolyn Roberts of Denham Spring, Louisiana.
