Terry Wayne Smith

Terry Wayne Smith, 52, of Orange, passed from this life to begin his eternal life in Heaven on December 2, 2009.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2009, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange, with burial following at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park.

Terry's brothers will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends beginning at noon on Saturday.

Born in Orange on January 6, 1957, he was the son of Reece and Honor Lee Harper Smith.

Terry worked for several tree trimming companies in the area and was a member of Community Church in Orange. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all. He had such a great desire to live. Terry will be dearly missed.

Preceded in death by his father, Reece Smith; nephew, Korey Smith and brother-in-law, Richard Gallas, Terry is survived by his mother, Honor Lee Smith of Orange; daughter and son-in-law, Alisha and Jarred Eusea; grandchildren, Carlie, Kayley and Aiden Eusea, all of Marrero, Louisiana.

Also surviving are his sisters, Ann Smith of Orange, Joan Gallas of Bullard, Judy Sneed and her husband, Clyde, of Mont Belvieu; brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Juanita Smith, Lynn and Renee Smith, Mike and Vickie Smith, all of Orange, Robert and Cherry Smith of Buna, Harold and Penny Smith of Tucson, Arizona, Rusty and Pam Smith of Bridge City; nieces, nephews and companion, Lacretia McElroy of Orange.

The family wishes to acknowledge with grateful appreciation, the nursing staff in the ICU department of Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, especially Ashley and Natalie, for the care and attention given to Terry.
