Thomas F. Hryhorchuk

Thomas F. Hryhorchuk, 79, of Deweyville, died Monday, August 25, 2008, at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2008, at St. Mary Catholic Church, with Reverend Joseph P. Daleo serving as celebrant.

Interment will follow at Deweyville Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday, with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange.

Thomas was born July 28, 1929, in Deweyville to John and Mary Rut Hryhorchuk.

He worked as a carpenter for Levingston Shipbuilding Company, was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Hryhorchuk, brothers, Johnnie F. Hryhorchuk, Stephen Wynn, Eugene S. Hryhorchuk; sisters, Rose Lee Bergstresser and Lorena Doyle.

He is survived by his brothers and their wives, Vincent and Ruby Hryhorchuk of Spring, Adolph and Janell Hryhorchuk of Orange and Frank and Eva Hryhorchuk of Bridge City; sisters and their husbands, Stephina and Phil Burton of Nederland, Nickie Cappel of Port Neches, Bessie Hryhorchuk, Katherine and George Mason, all of Deweyville; sisters in law, Ruth Hryhorchuk and Faye Hryhorchuk.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Mason, Kenneth Hryhorchuk, Billy Ford, Ty Ford, Ryan Skinner and Shawn Hryhorchuk.
