Tommy L. Witterstaeter, 65, of Mauriceville, passed away on April 30, 2009. He was retired from Texaco. He was a master Mason and served in the Army Reserves. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and a Dallas Cowboy fan.

Tommy leaves loving memories to his wife, Jerrie Witterstaeter; daughter, Cherry Lemire and her husband Blaine; brother, Robert Witterstaeter of Vidor; nephews, Jeff Witterstaeter of Mauriceville, Eli and his wife Heather of Baytown; mother-in-law, Billye Whitt of Beaumont; step-sons, Joel Hickey and his wife Emily, Jeff Hickey and his wife Kelle of Lake Jackson; and grandchildren, Shawn Hickey of Beaumont, and Leahna and Nadia Hickey of Lake Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Leroy and Marion Witterstaeter.

Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, 2:00 p.m., at the Witterstaeter residence on 6550 Johnson Road in Mauriceville.
