Thomas Wayne Emory - Labrie-Claybar

Thomas Wayne Emory, 81, of Mauriceville, died Tuesday, February 1, 2011, at Baptist Orange Hospital.

Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 5, 2011, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange with Mr. Tom Windham officiating. Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory in Bridge City.

Thomas was born in Spartenburg, South Carolina on November 26, 1929. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired from IBEW 776.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma Windham Emory of Mauriceville; sons, Thomas W. Emory, Jr. of South Carolina, Gary Emory IBEW 776 of Mauriceville; daughter, Donna Havron IBEW 479 of Mauriceville; step-son, Thomas Windham of Mauriceville; step-daughter, Jill Turner of Orange; and step-son, David Windham of Mauriceville.

Thomas is also survived by his 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and brother, Kenneth Emory of South Carolina.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, 611 N. 9th Street, Orange, Texas 77630 or the O.C.A.R.C, Attn: John Thomas, 905 West Park, Orange, 77630.
