Timothy Ray Rowe

Timothy Ray Rowe, 59, of Bridge City, died Sunday, April 11, 2010, at St. Luke's Episcopal in Houston.

Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend Steven Leger of St. Henry Catholic Church.

Born in Port Arthur, Texas on October 18, 1950, Timothy was the son of Oscar William Rowe and Alace Hoover Rowe.

Timothy loved the outdoors, his motorcycles and his family. He served in the marines and worked as an operator for West Lake Petro-Chemical.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Jean Goodwin.

Timothy is survived by his wife, Sheryl Rowe; daughter, Amanda Rowe of Nacogdoches; daughter and son-in-law, Laurie and Rick Maxfield of Nacogdoches; and son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jennifer Rowe of Bridge City.

He is also survived by his granddaughter, Madison Rowe; brother, James Rowe; sister and brother-in-law, Sharron and Richard Belk; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Martha Rowe; brother-in-law, Steven Goodwin; and his dog, Zues all of Bridge City.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.

I am sorry for your lost. And it is my lost also. I have known Tim for 19 years. He was member of my Fire Brigade here at the plant. He was also my friend. I am a vet as he was and he talked many hours about our pasts. I will miss Tim; he was special. ##imported-begin##Jim Adams##imported-end##

I worked with Mr. Rowe for only 5 short years and in that time he and I shared many laughs. And no matter how bad things were he would always tell me "Its not that bad".
