Tina Barbin Roberts

Tina Barbin Roberts, 44, of Channelview, passed away April 7, 2010. A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange on Saturday April 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Shane Johnson officiating.

Tina was born on April 20, 1965. She was the daughter of Judith Crandall of Channelview and Rudy Barbin and stepmother, Shirley Barbin of Orange. Tina was also the mother of a beautiful daughter, Morgan Roberts.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Barbin; and grandparents, Una Mary and Eugene Hunt.

Tina is survived by both parents; and daughter. Also surviving are her sisters and their spouses, Mary Jo and Tommy Stokes of Arizona, Bobbie Jo and Paul West of Channelview, and Cindy DeRouen of Bridge City; step-brother and sister, Gary Guoteaux and Cheryl Forman; nieces and nephews, Wendy Millen, Brandy Johnson, Michael Parker, Jerod Atkins, Coty Stokes, Jake Stokes and Joshua Craven; and numerous great nephews and nieces.

Tina was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, sister-in-law, and wonderful friend to many but most importantly, she was a mother to a much cherished daughter. She will be greatly missed.

Tina, you were always there when anyone needed you. I wish I was there when you needed me. Im so sorry we argued before you had moved, but we always knew we would see each other again. My Aunt Tina meant so much to me. I will always treasure all the fun things we did together growing up, and even as an adult she felt she had to protect me.
