Tom Vandervoort, 59, of Orange, Texas passed away Thursday, December 3, 2009, at his home.

Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest with a private interment held at a later date. Arrangements are by Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Tom was born on October 21, 1950, in Port Arthur, Texas. He was the son of Paul Emanuel Vandervoort, Jr. and Clarice Cerveny Vandervoort. Tom was a retired accountant of Maxwell House Coffee in Houston, Texas. He was a graduate of Stark High School Class of 1969 and a graduate of Stephen F. Austin with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Tom is survived by his brothers and sister-in-law, Van and Sandye Vandervoort of Orange and Nick and Becky Vandervoort of Pryor, Oklahoma; three nieces; and one nephew.
