Tommy Howell, 47, of Orange, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2008 in Port Arthur.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City. Officiating will be the Reverend Dale H. Vance of First Baptist Church Bridge City. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Bridge City.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.

Tommy was born September 19, 1960 in Port Arthur to Thomas and Marie Rowan Howell. Tommy was employed by St. Mary's Hospital in Port Arthur where he was responsible for maintenance.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Howell and sister, Debbie Howell.

Those left to cherish Tommy's memory are mother, Marie Howell of Orangefield; and sisters Gwen Hopkins of Bridge City, and Lydia Wilson of Orangefield.

Also surviving him are nieces and nephews, Jentzi Wilson of Orangefield, J.T. Hopkins, Andrew Hopkins and James Hopkins all of Bridge City.

Serving as pallbearers will be Andrew Hopkins, James Hopkins and Jesse Walles.
