I only knew Tommy from the Port Neches Texaco Retirees Club Luncheons but he was always kidding around with others and talking about all the fun times they were able to have at work. We have been missing him since he's been unable to come and will be praying for the family in your loss. May our Lord give you the peace that passes all understanding. Frankie Jeter

One afternoon we were preparing everything for a crayfish boil when I looked up and saw you Connie, Tommy, Charla and Veronica walking up the driveway. I said to myself "I know that guy" I think a bulb went off in mine and Tommy's head at the same time. We went to school with each other. Small world huh? From that moment on it was instant friendship with you two. I loved all the times we would get together over the past years. Out of site is never out of mind because I always kept up with Tommy and you Connie with Veronica. I have fond memories of our friendship. He will be greatly missed. I will keep you in my prayers Connie and if you ever need a shoulder mine is available. My God bless and keep you in this time of sorrow.

Tommy and I were the youngest of the electricians in the shop so when there was a job up a pole that no one else wanted we got it. I was a rookie in the shop at the time and we had to change a transformer out. The sun was so hot that day we would have done anything to get out of it. As usual Tommy had an ideal some of his ideals got him and I in a lot of trouble. You are ahead of me that's right this was one of those Ideals that Buck was not going to like. Tommy said I'll be right back and he was with a canvas to lay over the 2300 volt lines to keep the sun off of us. It was great till Buck came along. We didn't know there was so many ways to tell someone that they were STUDIT. We will all miss Tommy. Buddy Elmore

Tommy and I attended school through 12th grade graduation and worked together at Texaco, Pt Neches for 12 yrs and 5 1/2 yrs in the electric / instrument dept as well. He was a good friend. As a rookie electrician he told me I would have to hold these two wires together in my hand before I could become an electrician. I tried twice and I couldn't do it. So he grab them and held them. I saw how he did it and got them from him and held them together, the clips touching each, it worked. Everyone in the shop got a good laugh at my expense. Tommy taught me a lot in the shop. Je will be sorely missed.
