Vanessa Faye Cormier

Vanessa Faye Cormier, 51, of Pt Acres passed away April 15, 2007 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont after a long battle with cancer.

A memorial service will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2007 in the Charles S. Kelley Memorial Chapel at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home.

Her family will receive guests from 3:00 p.m. until service time on Tuesday.

Vanessa was born January 11, 1956 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to the late William and Gladys Fisher Dotson. She loved to tend to her home and her family was always very important to her. She was always putting everyone?s needs before hers. Vanessa also stood beside her husband of 26 years in helping with his work on special projects.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Andrew Cormier, Jr. of Port Acres; sons, Shane Cormier of Clear Lake and Josh Cormier of Groves; granddaughter, Dakota Cormier of Groves; brother, Richard Dotson of Bridge City; uncle, David Fisher and wife Mary Ann of Lumberton and three cousins that were more like sisters, Pam Stanfield, Debbie Lene?, and Diane Sielding.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Larry Dotson.
