Velma Liston Snyder

A memorial service for Velma Listen Snyder, 76, of Beaumont will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel.

Mrs. Snyder was born May 5, 1933 in Rose City, TX and passed away December 28, 2009 in Beaumont. She was a retired Nurses Aid and member of the Holy Bible Faith Center.

She is survived by her sons, Gordon Brooks of Bloomingdale, GA, John Michael Schmidt of Indiana, William Brian Logan of Beaumont; grandchildren, Joshua and Rebecca Brooks; great-granddaughter, Emily Lynn Brooks; brother, John Martin Liston and wife, Betty of Vidor; and sister, Earline Masters and husband, Billy of Beaumont.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.

I'm very sorry for the loss of your mom. Just found out this morning.Iknow it's going to be very hard for you, y'all were very close. I just went through the same in august. Mom Snyder will truely be missed by so many people. She was truely one of a kind. A very sweet,lovin, and wonderful woman. She truely was an angel. I am so very sorry for the loss of your beloved Mother. I wish I could have been there for her as well as you. I really loved Aunt Velma. She was Mamas' running "buddy". She so much reminded me of my Mom. They were closer in age and I believe closer than ##imported-begin##Paula##imported-end##
