Verdie Fuselier, 79, of Orange, died Thursday, January 13, 2011, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 17, 2011, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.

Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.

Born in Basile, Louisiana on June 15, 1931, Verdie was the daughter of Valmon and Pauline Duplichain Ardoin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Verdie is survived by her husband, Delton Paul Fuselier of Orange; sons, Tommy James Fuselier and his wife, Sonya of Orange, Michael James Fuselier of Orange, and Delwin Paul Fuselier of Louisiana; four grandchildren, Bryant Fuselier, Whitney Fuselier, Nathan Fuselier, and Maisie Fuselier; and two sisters.
