Well Dad, it's Thanksgiving Day and I'm giving thanks for all the years we shared the holidays. I'm truly grateful to have had you and Mom as long as we did. But, I have to admit I miss all of the phone calls between us (even if it was to check your phone minutes - lol) and I miss not seeing you standing in the driveway waiting for us or sending us off. It's still hard to believe you're gone, but I want you to know everything is ok. I know you are with Mom and Darlene and that gives me a lot of comfort and peace. I love you very much Dad - Happy Thanksgiving. Connie

Some things in life are unforgettable. A graduation, your 21st birthday, your Wedding day. The birth of your first child. The one thing I know I will never forget is Bill's heart breaking smile. My goodness for 38 years that I had the privilege of knowing him was his smile never faltered. He smiled till the end. I will always remember that. You could tell as he got older, he came closer to GOD. I also, know he came closer to being with Mary and Darlene, That should make everyone smile. You see instead of being bitter at the end HE WAS RECIEVING his invitation to join his Wife and daughter. All of us should rejoice in that thought. Don't run away from GOD, run to him, seek him and you shall find him. We all want to be with our loved ones forever, now I know the secret. Ask Jesus to be your LORD and Savior, come into your LIFE and ease your troubled heart and soul. Ask him to guide you by the light of love eternal. I know a lot of people are going to miss Bill very much, I'm going to miss him DEARLY. I love you Bill I always had and always will. Thank God for the 38 years I got to be your Son in Law. I promise that for the REST of my LIFE I will cherish being the Husband of your daughter Connie, I will love and honor her.
