William â??Leroyâ? Trahan

William "Leroy" Trahan, 66, of Bridge City, died Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at M.D. Anderson in Houston.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2009, at Church on the Rock in Bridge City under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange with Pastor Lance Faulkner officiating.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at the church.

Leroy was born in Port Arthur, Texas on September 13, 1942. He was the son of Joseph Charles Trahan and Marjorie Mae Trahan. Leroy retired after 42 years at DuPont as a Structural Integrity Specialist.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Charles Trahan.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Trahan; mother, Marjorie Mae Trahan; sons, Todd Trahan and his wife Cynthia of Lumberton, Ryan Skinner and his wife Chelsea of Orange and Cody Trahan of Magnolia, New Jersey; three grandchildren, Cace Skinner, Halle Skinner and Reece Skinner; brothers, Charles Trahan and his wife Marlyn of Groves and Tracy Trahan and his wife Rhonda of Alpharetta, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Church on the Rock Building Fund in Leroy's name. P.O. Box 902, Bridge City, Texas 77611.

Barbara, So very sorry to hear of Leroy's passing. We didn't get the news until the day before the service.
