Funeral services for Willie Lorene Williams, 86 of Beaumont, Texas will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home with Robert Turnage of Victory Temple officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 14, 2007 from 5-8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Williams was born on December 24, 1920 to Payton and Alice Simpson Oliver and passed away December 10, 2007 in Beaumont. She was the original owner/operator of Amelia Burger in Beaumont and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy W. Williams; and also her granddaughter, Sandi Smith, she is survived by her children, Letha Wright of Pollok, TX, Betty Swain of Pitkin, LA, Willie "Sonny" Smith of Beaumont, Carolyn Guillory of Beaumont, Jerry Smith of Mauriceville and Michael Smith of Tulsa, OK, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and one brother, Hoy "Jack" Oliver of San Augustine, TX.

I have not had the pleasure of seeing Mrs. Williams since I was a kid. My brother Monty & Sonny were best friends, & Michael & I were also.
